Gabriel Evoke drops ‘Pitcha’ via Sante’s label

Featuring 4 new original cuts.

Following up on the release of ‘Can’t Take My Eyes’, Brazil’s Namata Records owner Gabriel Evoke has presented his latest EP, ‘Pitcha’. The new record is already available via Santé’s AVOTRE label.

‘Pitcha’ features four original tracks by Evoke. With quite a fat and grooved bassline, super discreet vocal samples (with a distorted pitch), and a bit of acid (by the famous TB-303), the title track brings a more raw aesthetic within deep tech. For its part, ‘Way You Love’ showcases typical house music pianos and soft female vocals, resulting in the most minimalist cut of the EP. Meanwhile, ‘Escape’ is a sensorial overload, and ‘Bon Voyage’ fuses minimal and deep house for a sultry lounge cut.

‘Pitcha’ is the most important release of my career this far’, said Evoke about his brand new EP.
