Glastonbury organizers have officially announced the dates for the festival’s return in 2027, following a scheduled year off in 2026. The next edition will take place from June 23rd to 27th, 2027.

This year the festival ran from June 25th to 29th across Worthy Farm in Somerset. However, as previously confirmed by organiser Emily Eavis, 2026 will serve as a fallow year — a tradition that allows the working farm to rest and regenerate. The last planned fallow year was in 2018, though the festival also paused in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking on the decision, Eavis described the break as “overdue”, reaffirming the need for periodic rest to preserve the land and maintain the event’s long-term sustainability.

While full ticket information for 2027 is expected by mid-2026, organizers have launched a charity prize draw for the first 25 festival passes. Proceeds will go to Doctors Without Borders (MSF UK), and the draw is open until November 7th, 2025.
