Madrid will host the debut edition of Pulse of Gaia Festival on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. This new concept—created by Zamna Group and Re:wild—will be headlined by Gorillaz in their only performance outside the UK this year.

Celebrating 25 years of innovation, Gorillaz will take the stage with the full live band and visuals by Jamie Hewlett. The show will highlight material from across their eight studio albums, including tracks from 2023’s ‘Cracker Island’.

Also performing are Thundercat, the GRAMMY-winning multi-genre virtuoso known for his fusion of funk, jazz, and psychedelia; Maceo Plex, the respected underground techno producer delivering atmospheric, groove-driven sets; and EREZ, who will showcase her raw, industrial sound characterized by bold textures.

Pulse of Gaia transcends typical festival boundaries, celebrating sound and nature at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. The event will integrate music, technology, and ecology with environmental consciousness at its core. Through partnership with Re:wild, €2 from each ticket supports biodiversity conservation, complemented by on-site educational activities.

“Every living thing has an important role to play in its respective ecosystem, including humans,” said Re:wild CEO Wes Sechrest. “We are grateful to Zamna for supporting wildlife, wild places, and the people who protect them by donating €2 per ticket sold to Re:wild.
