Icelandic musician Daði Freyr has shared his latest release: the Hot Chip remix of his song ‘Think About Things’. The band adds a disco touch to the original track through synthesizers and a brilliant guitar line.
‘Having Hot Chip remix my song was a dream I had never seen become a possibility until a few weeks ago. The remix is amazing! It’s very surreal to hear its sound in my song. Hot Chip has had a huge influence on me. As an artist, I became a superfan when they released ‘One Life Stand’ in 2010. They are one of the few bands that I have heard constantly for a decade!’, says DaðI Freyr.
‘Think About Things’ has reached over 7 million YouTube views and 7.8 million Spotify streams, bringing Daði Freyr to 652K monthly Spotify listeners. The remix is now available on all platforms through AWAL.
