Flores celebrates its first birthday with a new collaboration from Island Hill and Of Norway. Titled ‘In My Mind’, the release includes remixes from Ivory and Budakid.
Blending indie vocals with deep house textures, ‘In My Mind’ draws on the storytelling essence of Island Hill and the emotive production of Of Norway. The original track unfolds as a warm and introspective journey, shaped by longing and rhythmic nuance.
Ivory’s remix infuses the piece with a restrained intensity, layering deep basslines and intricate beats while preserving the track’s vocal soul. Budakid takes a more cinematic approach, incorporating analog elements and melodic subtleties that offer a moment of quiet reflection.
