Signaling The Book Of Genesis’ second release to date, this sophisticated three-tracker showcases a truly mature sound, showcasing the constant evolution in the artists’ journey through a distinct concoction of melodic techno and progressive house.
Opening up proceedings is the titular ‘Memories’, which finds the Ukrainian trio knee-deep in a sensual groove accentuated by scrumptious guitar licks that linger across the track as chopped vocals provide a unique color to the palette. Swaying over a broken beat, Vayat presents us with a menagerie of melancholic moments that stride over aqueous chords that echo across the piece as tight violin strings glide in the background, effortlessly drawing alluring shapes that hypnotize listeners.
