Cornish duo Kerrier Collective has released their latest mix, now available on EG’s SoundCloud and Mixcloud platforms. Delivered as part of the EGLO series, this set by Ben Tidy and Alfie Gidley offers a richly textured exploration through the intersections of jazz, afrobeat, soul, and deep house — all wrapped in warm live instrumentation and thoughtful pacing.
The mix features tracks from Fela Kuti, Herbert, Bonobo, Cyril Morin, Cleo Sol, Idris Muhammad, Ben Böhmer, Lankum, The Cinematic Orchestra, Sudan Archives, Hamdi, Quiet Village, Jorge Ben Jor, Quantic, DJ Gregory, Gregor Salto, Georgette, Nina Simone, KiNK, Massive Attack, and Carl Craig. It also includes original music by Kerrier Collective, including their recent collaboration with Wolf Peaches, ‘Rotten Fingers’, which is now out via Colour and Pitch.
Reflecting the spirit of their new release ‘Rotten Fingers / Fake Silence’, the duo brings introspective emotion into a beautifully arranged session, blending classics and rarities with modern electronic textures.
