Vladan Krstic, also known as KICA, has released his new track ‘Clockwork’ under his own label, KICA Records. This follows the success of his hit single ‘Cuckoo ft. Yohani’.

‘Clockwork’ features a Cuttin’ Headz style rhythm, bouncy basslines, samba snares, an orchestral arrangement of synths, and a vibrant Jamaican patois vocal line. This track showcases KICA’s skill in blending diverse musical elements.

Speaking of his inspiration, KICA said, “I’ve been looking for a new sound from Latin America and the Caribbean. I was inspired by UK/Jamaican rapper Stefflon Don. I chopped the vocals to make them more seductive. Adding Jamaican rap to my take on a Cuttin’ Headz style rhythm just works.”

Krstic, originally an athlete and extreme sports events organizer, found inspiration in the music of artists he met during these events. After moving to Dubai in 2015, his sound quickly gained recognition. By 2020, performing as KICA, he became one of the UAE’s top DJs. His debut single ‘Mini’ ranked 4th on Beatport, followed by several successful singles.
