Berlin-bred producer Sacha Robotti has announced ‘I, Robotti’, his first album, pencilled for release in 2026. The news arrives with lead single ‘Say It’, a collaboration with Los Angeles artist Victoria Rawlins. The track lands on Dirtybird as the label celebrates its 20th anniversary.
‘I, Robotti’ travels through the dance-floor styles that shaped his 20-year career. It moves from the Berlin basements that forged Robotti’s early sound to the California campouts that fed his playful edge. Listeners can expect touches of tech house, breakbeat, indie dance, peak-time techno, and jackin house.
‘Say It’ opens the album cycle with brooding synth lines and crisp percussion that underline Rawlins’ gravelly spoken-word hook. She repeats the phrase “I’m gonna say it with my body”, adding seductive tension suited to late-night floors.
Robotti’s relationship with Dirtybird began in 2014 with the ‘Loca Lola’ EP, followed by ‘Melato Nina’ (2017) and collaborations with Kevin Knapp and Kill Frenzy. Recently, he headlined San Francisco’s ‘Back To Baysics’ event and collaborated with Pershard Owens on ‘Roll With Me’.
Rawlins, who hosts Dirtybird Radio, blends underground dance, post-punk, and psychedelia in her sets. Her music appears on labels including Almost Like We Met, Farris Wheel, and Octopus, while her collaborations with Sian, WRDO, and Joanna Magik have earned support from artists like Claptone and VNSSA.
