Australian producer Samantha Poulter, best known as Logic1000, has just shared her unique reinterpretation of Groove Armada’s seminal 2001 anthem, ‘My Friend’. The new remix is already available via BMG and comes as a part of Groove Armada’s 25-year anniversary celebrations.
‘Remixing such a classic was an absolute honor. I have such strong memories of the vocal in ‘My Friend’ from way back, so it was really fun to recontextualize it into something Logic-esque’ says Poulter about the opportunity to reconstruct Groove Armada’s ‘My Friend’.
The release follows the recent announcement for next month’s GA25 tour – Groove Armada’s final full live UK tour.
