The six-track project arrives on both digital and vinyl formats.
Loner Tennis Club has unveiled a new six-track EP, ‘Modern Rituals,’ released via the Loners record label.
The project features a collaboration with vocalist Duppy on the opening track, ‘Energy,’ which spearheaded the rollout earlier this spring. The full release features a cohesive narrative structure that mirrors the progression of a night out, transitioning from peak-time energy to reflective, late-night atmospheres.
Musically, the EP sits at the intersection of modern UK garage and house music. It utilizes rolling drum programming, steady breaks, and driving basslines, while incorporating field recordings from Sri Lanka to add a hypnotic, organic texture to the club-ready rhythms.
Loner Tennis Club has established a reputation for blending driving electronic rhythms with atmospheric, future-garage melancholy. This latest body of work follows a series of single releases throughout March and April, including ‘Overnight Shift’ and ‘Above.’
The EP is available now. Stream and download here.
