Maceo Plex, Dean Hurley, Melawati, and Acorne were the artists chosen to remix the song ‘Shadow’ by the American band Chromatics. The remix pack is now available through Italians Do It Better.
The original track from which the remix collection springs, ‘Shadow’, was originally released in 2015 and quickly became one of the featured posts on Chromatics’ discography. The track rose to fame in late 2016, when Chromatics performed the track on David Lynch’s cult television series Twin Peaks (season 3). The band took the stage at a fictional venue, The Roadhouse, and in turn, catapulted the track to overall success.
