Los Angeles-based artist Marie Nyx has released her exclusive contribution to Insomniac’s official Countdown NYE 2025 mix series, now streaming on the brand’s SoundCloud.
The session arrives as part of the rollout for Countdown NYE 2025, set to take place on December 31, 2025, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The event marks the festival’s first Downtown LA edition and will feature four stages alongside the Red Light District concept.
Blending gritty synth lines with experimental club rhythms, Marie Nyx’s session moves through 4×4 and broken beat structures with acid-leaning textures. The mix offers an early glimpse into what she will present when opening the night on the Twilight Zone stage.

Countdown NYE 2025 is led by headliners including John Summit, Above and Beyond, Pryda, Madeon, and SLANDER, while also spotlighting underground and emerging artists across its multi-stage program. Marie Nyx appears among a new wave of rising names featured on this year’s lineup.
