Martin Sawyer, also known as Marsaw, has concluded the first chapter of his project, ‘Paroxysms, Pt. 1’, with the release of his latest single ‘Tribe of Eurafric (Never Go)’, now available via MND Music.
‘Paroxysms, Pt. 1’, the first segment of the three-part project, is a harmonious exploration of sound, highlighting the artist’s evolution and his African and European heritage. The term Paroxysms refers to a sudden outburst of emotion or activity, reflecting Marsaw’s emotional journey during the creation of this track.
After releasing his initial singles, ‘Underwater Station (Safer)’ and ‘Don’t Wanna Know’, Marsaw introduced ‘Tribe of Eurafric (Never Go)’. This final song in the first part of his triptych EP, ‘Paroxysms’, combines African rhythms with his electronic sound, paying tribute to his roots. As the project continues with parts 2 and 3, listeners will further understand the artist’s background and influences.
