Marsh has launched Marshan Records, opening a new independent chapter with its first release, ‘Home’.
The label gives the melodic house artist a platform for his own music while reflecting the community that has developed around his work. Its name references the Marshans, the collective name used for his listeners and supporters.
‘Home’ stays close to Marsh’s established melodic house sound, pairing dreamlike layers with a warm, gradually unfolding groove. The track was designed to work across both reflective listening and the dancefloor.
Marshan Records initially focuses on Marsh’s own releases. Whether the label will later expand its catalogue to include other artists has not yet been confirmed.
The launch follows Marsh’s previous releases through labels including Mango Alley, Monstercat Silk, Colorize, and Anjunadeep.
