‘Bodytalk’ is the name of Matchy‘s new release, which brings an elaborate and full sound. The record is made up of four tracks and is already available through the German KATERMUKKE label.
The lead cut ‘Bodytalk’ features Johanson who adds a quiet vocal layer on top of atmospheric subwoofers and energetic arpeggios. ‘Wrong Turn’ comes with the classic heavy Matchy sound. Disillusioning sounds flow in and out, combined with very spacious synths that convey a very nightly dance atmosphere.
The next track, ‘Salvation’, adds a bit of trance, with a galloping bassline and long, drawn-out pads. The last track is called ‘Capital Of Your Dreams’ and features the voice of the talented singer and producer Felix Raphael, making it a very emotional track.
