Metrozubdivision has released their new EP, ‘Odd Spine,’ marking the duo’s first studio output in over a year. The five-track project is currently available on Bandcamp, with the title track also appearing on major streaming platforms.

Produced by Nylon Lion and co-produced by the band, the EP was recorded at Hostal CS to capture a raw, immediate energy. The release signals a shift away from polished production, favoring an analog-driven sound that emphasizes industrial and alternative roots.

The record features a collaboration with Chofa Loero, formerly of La Muy Bestia Pop, who contributed acoustic guitar to the track ‘Did You Figure It Out.’ The remaining compositions focus on distorted textures, layered synths, and rhythmic friction.

Founded in 1997 by brothers Nylon Lion and Gabriel Madison, Metrozubdivision has maintained a presence in the alternative electronic scene for nearly three decades. This latest project reinforces their DIY ethos, eschewing mainstream digital trends in favor of a curated listening experience.

Following the digital debut, the band will issue ‘Odd Spine’ on vinyl, CD, and cassette formats. Follow their latest updates here.
