German producer Nhii and Dominican vocalist J Feliz have joined forces on ‘La Bodega,’ a charity release arriving August 14th via WAYU Records.
The project grew out of BeatRetreat in the Dominican Republic, where a live vocal workshop with J Feliz was followed by a visit to InspireDR. Nhii later developed the recordings into a finished track that brings together indie dance, acid, organic electronic elements, and Caribbean influences.
One hundred percent of the net proceeds from the master recording will be donated to InspireDR. The organization works with children and young adults in the Dominican Republic through education, mentorship, and community development.
