Los Angeles-based composer and sound artist Nick Norton has just released his latest single, ‘Waiting For Pho (feat. Garrett Wingfield),’ from his upcoming first full-length solo album, ‘Music For Sunsets.’ The album is scheduled for release on September 15th, 2023, via People Places Records.
According to Nick Norton, “‘Waiting for Pho’ is the song I am most unabashedly stoked about on ‘Music for Sunsets’. It’s wild, far and away the most complex, and even ends with a radio fade.”
The album is an ambient electronic voyage that documents Norton’s slow recovery from and acceptance of a severe mental health diagnosis in 2020. It also explores artistic methods of interacting with generative technology in friendly, co-creative ways.
