Notre Dame has returned to Solomun’s Diynamic label with his latest EP, ‘No Rules.’ The three-track release marks the producer’s latest contribution to the influential underground imprint.
The project explores themes of early rebellion and self-expression. It serves as a conceptual reflection on childhood transitions and the first experiences of personal freedom, channeled through distinct electronic arrangements.
Musically, the EP balances different energy levels across its tracklist. ‘No Rules’ combines a heavy kick drum with nostalgic synth melodies, while ‘Troublemaker’ focuses on playful, intricate percussion. The final track, ‘Watch Me,’ anchors the release with a prominent vocal hook and high-energy driving rhythms.
