São Paulo-based artist Ortus (BR) has shared ‘Lua’, his latest EP, and his debut release on Brazilian melodic house & techno imprint Transensation Records. Showcasing four new original cuts, the record is already available to stream and purchase across all major platforms.
Throughout the title track, we find Ortus layering of melodies that intertwine in a spatial, delicate, and slightly melancholy trance, while ‘Arcanjos’ is endowed with an introspective quality that showcases the producer’s metier for hypnotizing ambiances.
The package is completed with 2 remixes. In the first one, Camila Giamelaro and Rene Castanho of the renowned Binaryh duo deliver a more sober and apotheotic proposal on their take of ‘Lua’; meanwhile, Transensations crew member Pedräda closes the EP by carrying the reverbs, the spatiality of the melodies, and a prominent bassline, which results in a powerful delivery of ‘Arcanjos’.
