Marie Davidson has published her first poetry collection, ‘Traveler’s Faith’, through Soulwax’s DEEWEE imprint.
Limited to 750 copies, the book contains 30 original poems alongside lyrics from Davidson’s sixth album, ‘City of Clowns’, released in February 2025. The Montreal artist began writing the collection before completing the album, initially working under the title ‘Deep Fried’, before revisiting the material and developing it into ‘Traveler’s Faith’.
“It’s only words, but everything in there comes straight from the heart”, Davidson wrote on Instagram. “Some might recognize themselves in a poem, some might never know. Some might get the airport blues, some might feel the traveler’s high.”
The publication features photography by Nadine Fraczkowski and design by Giovanni Murolo.
