Unpacking his latest creation via 8bit Records, Israel’s Eliran Osadon steps up to the fore with the vibrant three-tracker, ‘My Sensation’. Disregarding trends, the artist’s new outing showcases the his ample palette, anchored by his complex drum work, while his creativity is left to run unchecked as he delivers some sublime dance-worthy cuts that are set to engrave themselves in your playlist.
On opener ‘Drums Shift’, lively glass bells greet us upon entrance, providing a fresh melodic anchor before complex percussive layers start to build over a thick low-end intermittent pulse. In tandem, iridescent chords swell gorgeously with every wave and ethereal female vocals rummage across the groove. At the same time, Osadon cleverly generates tension, only to release a dazzling stream of aural shards that embellish our journey inside.
Stepping up a gear, ‘Never Enough’ flexes a bolder attitude as the Israeli produces a muscular frame and offsets a disco-laced ambiance through neon stabs and chopped vocals. Deep in the haze, tantalizing drum arrangements see crisp hi-hats cutting through as gliding synthetics take centerstage, tampering with our receptors, leaving us wanting another go, all over again. Thankfully, the cut boasts a double breakdown, which is bound to satisfy even the most demanding of clubbers.
Harnessing the energy gathered, Osadon keeps the rhythm rolling with the titular cut, ‘My Sensation’. Brimming with flavor from the go, it finds the producer riding a gripping afro-inspired percussive sequence over thumping kicks before unveiling a throbbing bassline that is just irresistible. With the foundations in place, Osadon ups the ante with an infectious vocal that invites us to get down and dirty, generating momentum as the track leads us to tight strings that amplify the sexual tension before pulling back the curtains on a libidinous sax that is left to run amok for maximum pleasure.
Sexy, dangerous, narcotic, and just downright fun, Osadon’s ‘My Sensation’ is a wonderful addition to the Tel-Aviv-based artist’s buoyant catalog, displaying his métier for intricate rhythms and colorful twists that are at the service of getting those hips swaying.
