Argentine DJ and producer Prototype returns to the limelight with the drop of his latest single, ‘Glaciers’. The new record signals his awaited return to Stripped Digital, following the impact of his last collaboration with Greta Meier and Poli Siufi.
Constructed over a fragmented framework, ‘Glaciers’ expertly blends icy soundscapes with warm vocal bursts that interweave as a restless low-end pulse propels the piece into late-night terrains.
“I have always been enamoured by the timeless allure of breaks as a genre, especially when there’s a futuristic feel to it. I intended ‘Glaciers’ to tread through those lines, while also feeling like an intimate moment. The truth is that the piece was inspired by a distancing, which feels paradoxical in a scene that is mostly about generating a sense of connection. I think that is its true allure,” Prototype explains to EG.
Prototype’s ‘Glaciers’ is out now via Stripped Digital. You can download your copy here.
