London producer Danny Kane has launched a new release under his D’Swing moniker, titled ‘Early Tapes,’ via Razor-N-Tape. Pulled directly from the archives of his 1990s street soul and UK garage project, the release collects vintage material sourced from original master recordings.
The two-track release features guest vocals from Lorna Harris alongside an additional remix. The compositions combine snappy percussion, live instrumentation, and soulful vocal arrangements, bridging classic UK dancefloor sounds with modern disco production.
Danny Kane brings over three decades of industry experience to the project, having previously collaborated with Massive Attack’s Sara Nelson, Robert Owens, and Chaka Khan, alongside his house project Jakkin Rabbit and contemporary nu-disco output.
D’Swing’s ‘Early Tapes’ is available now digitally and on 7-inch vinyl. Stream and download here.
