Riva Starr announces his fifth studio album ‘Keep Me On The Dancefloor’ for March 2025, alongside new single ‘It Feels Much Better.’
The album’s lead single, ‘It Feels Much Better,’ features vocalist Harry Stone and combines disco elements with laid-back house rhythms to create an infectious groove. Stone’s vocals soar over a carefully crafted arrangement of funk-infused elements and filtered house textures.
Produced in Starr’s London studio with Harry Stone and Neapolitan keyboardist Dario Bassolino, the single draws inspiration from French production techniques while forging its own unique identity. “We aimed to create a slower, vibey track with soul, funk, and disco influences, avoiding obvious patterns while nodding to French production styles,” Starr explains. “This track captures the album’s essence, blending a sexy vibe with stories of love on the dancefloor, in the widest sense.”
‘Keep Me On The Dancefloor,’ set for release on March 27th, 2025, via Snatch! Records, was crafted through in-person studio sessions, resulting in songs that capture authentic musical connections between the participating musicians, writers, and vocalists.
