Rosalía has shared ‘Berghain’, the first single from her upcoming studio album, ‘Lux’, set for release on November 7th, 2025. The track sees the Spanish artist teaming up with Björk and Yves Tumor, weaving together German and Spanish vocals in a powerful orchestral composition.
Built around a frenetic arrangement of strings performed by the London Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Daniel Bjarnason, ‘Berghain’ merges operatic elements with Rosalia’s distinctive vocal delivery. The song opens with chants in German, followed by Spanish verses that reflect her lyrical sensibility.
The official video, directed by Nicolas Mendez, follows Rosalia through scenes of everyday life, shadowed by the orchestra as a constant presence. In the closing moments, Björk and Yves Tumor appear, drawing viewers into a surreal, dark fantasy that mirrors the sonic mood of the track.
Björk and Yves Tumor bring distinct voices to the collaboration. Björk, known for fusing avant-garde and pop, has long explored emotional and sonic experimentation. Yves Tumor’s work seeks to disrupt and reshape cultural expectations through sound.
