Sasha & Digweed have announced a comprehensive reissue of their seminal 1996 compilation, ‘Northern Exposure.’ The landmark release will make its debut on digital streaming platforms, accompanied by expanded CD and vinyl editions as well as a Deluxe Box Set featuring new artwork and extensive liner notes.
Originally released following their gold-certified UK success with The Mix Collection, the progressive-dub-trance-breaks odyssey captured the atmospheric environments of the duo’s club sets and American touring experiences. For the new collection, the pair added a third disc utilizing modern production tools to craft ambient reworks and dub interpretations of the classic material.
“We didn’t want to just deliver a Saturday night peak-time album. We wanted to capture the whole environment – the atmosphere that’s around the dancefloor, around our peak sets, what goes on after hours, and what goes on before,” Sasha commented. “There’s something about the atmosphere of this album that really is wonderful. And it also shows the birth of a sound that’s turned into this behemoth of a music scene. The fact that 30 years later, it’s getting re-released is mental – and great!” he added.
‘Northern Exposure Redux’ is available for pre-order now and will arrive on September 25th, 2026.
