A Circus “Cyrki” is a place of wonders and the incredible. Funny, ironic, spooky and psychedelic sounds fill our ears when we imagine a Circus soundtrack. Polish live duo Ikarvs brings us exactly this musical interpretation in their debut EP. Inspired by the different sounds of traditional music from all over the world they present us a mixture of exactly those <3 supporting our all idea of being one!
Thank you for bringing so much fun and artistic understanding into our family! “Iskierka” is our take on a traditional Polish poem and lullaby from XIX century. “Iskierka”, which is a “sparkle”, wants to tell a story to lull a little boy to sleep, but, after a short introduction, it burns out and the story is over. Sung by our grandmothers, the melody has rooted deeply in our consciousness, accompanying our early journeys to the world of dreams.
