A dark and elegant journey through experimental electronica.
London-based electronic artist Sink has released his debut album ‘Flaw State,’ now available via Foolish Beavers and AWAL. The full-length project arrives after a steady stream of singles on Olafur Arnalds’ OPIA Community and Max Cooper’s Mesh imprint, and coincides with two live performances supporting Rival Consoles in Leeds and Dublin this May.
Recorded over two years in his South-East London studio, ‘Flaw State’ explores themes of imperfection, acceptance, and emotional duality through a blend of alternative pop, ambient textures, and experimental electronica. The 10-track record balances stripped-down vocal work with layered sound design, featuring contributions from Rival Consoles, violinist Siobhán McCafferty, bass clarinetist Robert Murray Jamieson, and mixing engineers Alex O’Donovan (Kelly Lee Owens) and Cristiano Nicolini (Janus Rasmussen, Alessandro Cortini).
Sink’s prior work has gained attention from Worldwide FM, OpenLab, and Voices Radio, with placements in commercial and media campaigns for Adidas, Respawn Entertainment, and HBO Max. He is also currently scoring the upcoming Netflix feature ‘Night Always Comes,’ directed by Benjamin Cranon.
