Sónar and Casa Batlló introduce THE CUBE, a blend of Gaudí’s architecture and Sónar’s electronic music and digital art expertise. Scheduled to debut on May 24th, this global audiovisual space in the basement of Casa Batlló in Barcelona will provide an innovative experience.
The first venture, Music: Response, is an avant-garde audiovisual installation by The Chemical Brothers and Smith & Lyall, reimagining their music as a 360° visual spectacle.
Gary Gautier, CEO of Casa Batlló, anticipates the immersive journey that the artists have designed. This fusion of visual arts and music is expected to heighten audience engagement. Enric Palau, Sónar’s Co-founder and Artistic Director, is eager to present their creativity to a wider audience.
Music: Response promises a sensory experience with abstract visuals and iconic characters, showcasing the transformative power of music.
