SWIM has released ‘Dear Friend (Orchestral Suite)’, a new deluxe edition of his 2025 album ‘Dear Friend’, reimagining six tracks through orchestral arrangements and live string performances.
Recorded with a full orchestra in Budapest last autumn, the collection strips the original material back to vocals and orchestral instrumentation, offering a new perspective on songs including ‘You & Me’, ‘Get That Close’, ‘Everything You Need’, ‘Dear Friend’, ‘My Love’, and ‘Memories’.
The release follows the recent arrival of ‘Get That Close (Orchestral)’ and comes on the heels of SWIM’s sold-out Sydney Opera House performance, where he appeared alongside a 14-piece orchestra on June 5th, 2026.
The project follows a period of sustained momentum for the Australian artist, whose independently released albums ‘In Circles’ and ‘Dear Friend’ topped the Australian Dance Charts, while recent tours across North America, Europe, Japan, and Australia have continued to expand his audience.
