The Chemical Brothers win Dance categories at the 62nd Grammy Awards

Two new gramophones for the British duo.

The 62nd Grammy Awards were held on January 26th, 2020 at the Staples Center in the city of Los Angeles, who presented mixed feelings to know the fateful accident of the basketball star, Kobe Bryant, who was honored with a minute of silence.

For the prizes referring to electronic music, The Chemical Brothers obtained the two most important categories of the genre obtaining Best Dance Album with ‘No Geography’, as well as Best Dance Recording with ‘Got To Keep On’. On both, they surpassed other renowned artists that included names such as Apparat, Bonobo, Flume, RÜFÜS DU SOL and Tycho.

This is not the first time Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons have won the award, since ‘Block Rockin Beats’ earned them the Best Rock Instrumental Performance in 1997, ‘Galvanize’ won the Best Dance Recording in 2006, and ‘Push The Button’ and ‘We Are The Night’ won the Best Dance Album in 2006 and 2008 respectively.
