The Cure have announced ‘Mixes of a Lost World’, a 24-track remix compilation reimagining their 2024 album ‘Songs of a Lost World’. The LP is set to be released on June 13, 2025, via Fiction Records.

Curated by Robert Smith, ‘Mixes of a Lost World’ was born out of several unsolicited remixes he received following the release of ‘Songs of a Lost World’. Inspired by the creative interpretations, Smith expanded the project into a full-length remix album, inviting some of the most inventive names across the electronic spectrum to reinterpret the material.

The compilation includes three remixes for each of the eight tracks from the original album. Contributors include Four Tet, Paul Oakenfold, Chino Moreno of Deftones, Mogwai, Orbital, Trentemøller, Daniel Avery, and Mura Masa. Early standouts include Four Tet’s rework of ‘Alone’ and Oakenfold’s cinematic take on ‘I Can Never Say Goodbye’.

Proceeds from the release will go to War Child UK, supporting children affected by conflict. The album will be available across digital platforms as well as limited-edition 2LP, 3LP, 2CD, and 3CD formats.

Listen to ‘Alone (Four Tet Remix)’ and ‘Can Never Say Goodbye (Paul Oakenfold ‘Cinematic’ Remix)’ below and pre-order ‘Mixes of a Lost World’ here.
