The Translator, also known as Adem Gun, is back on the dancefloors with the release of his latest remix as he flips Oli J & Morgan Bosman’s ‘Can I Just Stay’. The new remix is already available to stream and purchase across all major digital platforms.
Showcasing The Translator’s versatility and talent, this new version sees the artist flipping Oli J & Morgan Bosman’s soulful ‘Can I Just Stay’ into an uplifting cut as he infuses the song with a lively synth bass and blissed-out house vibes.
“Most of my music carries a strong nostalgic, semi-polished feeling. I love experimenting with different genres. I reached out to Oli after hearing his track ‘Colors’ with Justin Jay. We started chatting, and when I asked, Oli suggested I take a look at his song ‘Can I Just Stay’ featuring Morgan Bossman to remix. I knew from the moment I heard it that I was going for an early 2000’s RnB/Downtempo House mix. I recorded some percussive instruments in my studio by playing them myself, and kept the bassline relatively minimal but catchy – letting Oli and Morgan’s beautiful vocals be the main focus of the track.” explains The Translator.
