The Warehouse Project is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a free outdoor photography and visual art exhibition in Manchester.
‘20 Years of The Warehouse Project’ opened July 16th, 2026, at The Avenue in Spinningfields and will remain on display for eight weeks. The open-air collection features 20 works spanning 35mm film, digital photography, Polaroids, contact sheets, and archival material that documents the event series over two decades.
Contributing photographers include Sebastian Matthes, Shaun Peckham, Jody Hartley, Anthony Mooney, Rob Jones, Pippa Rankin, Sophia Carey, and Harriet Bols. The exhibition also explores WHP’s visual identity through work by Studio Moross, Paul Hemmingfield, Katie Hamill, and Joab Harrison.
The anniversary program includes the physical UK premiere of ‘Twenty Years In Manchester’, a six-minute film directed by Leigh Powis. The film is screening daily at The Green in St. John’s for two weeks, from 8 AM to 12 PM.
