Burning Man reveals its 2020 temple design

It was created by Laurence ‘Renzo’ Verbeck and Sylvia Adrienne Lisse.

Burning Man surprises us every year with a different design of its temple. By 2020, the structure is an eight-point star, 60 meters in diameter and 21 meters high, which was called Empyrean.

As the designers indicate on their website, Empyrean symbolizes “the region beyond our physical realm, which is the highest center of wisdom and the source of energy consciousness”. The design, which was made by the same artists who were in charge of the work in 2019, is associated with the theme of the multiverse, with the quantum kaleidoscope of possibilities and the infinite realities that derive from it.

The curious thing is that following its philosophy of leaving no human trail once the party ends, the temple is burned at the end of each edition with the figure of a man on fire. Burning Man will take place from August 30th to September 7th, 2020.
