The producer wrote the song after attending the funeral of the late Cassius member.

Turbo Recordings founder and Montreal DJ / producer Tiga revealed that he will be releasing a new EP on his label. The material, which is comprised of three tracks, is titled ‘Colors So Bright’.

The Canadian artist returns to his roots with the title track, which was produced with Quinn, a member of the duo Paranoid London. The aforementioned track, ‘Colors So Bright’, is inspired by Philippe Zadr, the well-known French producer and member of Cassius, who passed away in June 2019.

After attending his funeral, Tiga wrote the track. ‘I was enveloped by his spirit’, said. ‘The album cover is a photo of Ibiza, where we loved spending time with our families every year. The song is inspired by him and is dedicated to him’.

In addition to the title track, the EP contains a dub version of ‘Colors So Bright’ and another track called ‘October Trance Song’, which is described by Tiga as an ideal track for those ‘hands in the air moments at a party that right now it doesn’t exist’.

The EP is now available and you can grab it here.
