Tiga revamps Lime’s Chicago house classic, ‘Angel Eyes’

It follows remixes from Carl Cox, Alan Fitzpatrick, Jacques Greene & Claptone.

Montreal legend Tiga has unveiled his darker take on Lime’s single ‘Angel Eyes’. The new edit of the Chicago house classic is now available via Canadian imprint Unidisc.

Tiga’s new version feels pitched up and is brimming with urgency, laced with dark energy, as the producer trades in the feel-good synth-pop vibes of the original for colder waves.

This new remix comes in the wake of Unidisc’s celebrations to mark its 40th anniversary, as the brand is utilizing its extensive and plentiful supply of dance music classics to create an exceptional collection of remixes from an all-star cast of today’s dance music talent.

So far, Claptone remixed the Trans-X classic ‘Living On Video’ and Jacques Greene flipped Lime’s favorite ‘Babe We’re Gonna Love Tonight’, with the likes of Carl Cox and Alan Fitzpatrick also contributing to Unidisc’s anniversary project.
