Announced in partnership with Teksupport, the gathering will take place at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York. For this edition of Time Warp NYC, the brand has already confirmed musical performances by Adam Beyer, Anfisa Letyago, ARTBAT, Enrico Sangiuliano, FadeFace, Mind Against, Mink back-to-back Pablo Romero, Nicole Moudaber, Ricardo Villalobos, and Sven Väth.

To celebrate his inclusion at this year’s edition of Time Warp USA, Mink shares with EG 10 of his favorite musical weapons.

1. Gypsymen – Bounce (Wild Warped Mix)

“I put this record first to show love to my city as it was produced by an alias of Todd Terry, an NYC legend, also born in Brooklyn. This record was a blind buy for me at a record store in Brooklyn as it was closing. When I got home and played it, I instantly felt that 90’s New York Groove I love, paired with warp synths & shakers that put me in a trance. Made the risk of buying a random record worth it. “

2. Chaos In The CBD – Multiverse

“The string in this record is deep yet powerful. as the string stays consistent, the Latin percussion and baseline are constantly progressing. This groove has me locked in with its acid lines and tom/conga variations. If I could describe why I would include this track in my set it would be this… it’s housey but still captures the classic sounds/elements we love about time warp in an interesting way.”

3. Tzena – Micromacro

“From the very start, this melody grasps you with its lush tones. It is driving, but elegant. Blending beauty with a very gritty baseline and skippy hats. This track took me on a subtle journey with its story. Only fair to share it with the ravers of TW.”

4. Psyance – E.Q.

“A classic from Richie Hawtin’s label, Plus 8. This track is a groover with a haunting baseline and seductive voice pads. the constant change up of elements keeps you focused. The bright bleeps remind me of an alarm clock, which is fitting because this track gets you up. From one groove to another- mid-way through this jam, the original baseline gets replaced with a surprise acid bass. That new melody on this bass grooves on with a set of new hats and percussion. Constant ear candy.”

5. Da Noyz Boyz – Tuch Me

“Party mode with this one. The whispering vocals over toms and whipping snares keep me moving. The bass falls perfectly in the pocket with a big synth to tie it all together. Dark and dirty. Overall classic groover for the dancers.”

6. The Martinez Brothers – My Rendition

“Sometimes you hear a beats track that can play for an hour straight and it will still keep you locked. The core loop of this tool is just that. The Latin rhythms remind me of New York’s tribal house in the late 90s/early 2000s. I’m always using tools like this in my sets as they are so fun to layer and mess with. had to include this little gem from the Bronx boys.”

7. Kirby – Dancin’ In The Night (Brothers Vibe Altered Soul Mix)

“Dubby synths and moody moving pads. Driving groove and dirty drums. Perfect for the early portion of this set. This track is keeping the spirit of deep dub techno sounds but reimagined in my favorite type of tribal house bounce.”

8. Earth Link – Bender (Kooky Spooky Mix)

“Ooufff! This one is a tough one. Almost an out-of-body experience with this track. It has been making waves in my sets during after-hours and I felt it would be a great addition to this special weekend. ‘Bender’ checks many boxes for me while planning my time warp sets. Groove…trippy…acid. Some nice conga percussion, which isn’t typical with these types of synth tracks. The driving synths build and build until it finally hits you with a powerful stripped back drop.”

9. Innershades – Forum

“Press play and instantly get captured by this mean baseline. I played this track a few times over the course of a year and found that every time it had the crowd moving with that stank face that all DJs crave to see on a raver. The string melodies come together with gritty acid stabs, techno hats, and lo-fi claps. Bomb, to say the least. At the right time…right place…this one is special.”

10. Danny Tenaglia – Bottom Heavy (Bottom Dub)

“Ending this playlist with a staple in New York underground dance music. Danny Tenaglia’s productions have inspired me as a youngin’ until this very day. This track brought me to a place from the first time I heard him play it in my early rave years (probably sneaking into Pacha NYC). At that point, this track had been nearly 15 years old and still hit. I’m including this on my list to honor a legend. the version I play is a personal edit of mine with a modern twist, Only to be heard during the Time Warp weekender.”
