TSHA announces new album ‘Sad Girl,’ shares single ‘Girls’

TSHA, has announced her new album, ‘Sad Girl’, which is set for release on September 27th, 2024 via Ninja Tune. The LP features her recently released track, ‘Sweet Devotion’, and her latest release, ‘Girls’ featuring Rose Gray.

‘Sad Girl’ explores new genres and marks a significant career milestone for TSHA. This album follows her debut, one ‘Capricorn Sun’, and captures both euphoria and melancholy, emphasizing the acceptance of sadness.

‘Sad Girl’ addresses complex emotions, reflecting on TSHA’s childhood and mental health. The album experiments with various genres, showcasing the artist’s vast musical knowledge, referencing influences from Pink Floyd to Caroline Polachek, and capturing the essence of her early adulthood. The cover art draws inspiration from a personal dream and Thierry Mugler’s 80s fashion photography.

In related news, TSHA has announced her 2024 world tour, starting in the United States and including performances in Spain, Belgium, the UK, Morocco, and Georgia. The tour will feature shows at notable venues and festivals such as Electric Forest, Pacha, Tomorrowland, Junction 2, Outside Lands, and Oasis Festival, concluding with a performance at Club Chinois in Ibiza.
