Ultra Records, a leading dance music record label, has launched the ‘U R DJ’ mix series, a new compilation series that aims to replace the iconic Ultra Dance that has been around since 2002.
The ‘U R DJ’ mix series will be a modern and fresh take on the Ultra Dance compilations, which delivered the energy of the dance floor to homes around the world for over 20 years. The series will feature a wide range of music, from remakes of classic hip-hop and r&b tracks to brand-new club bangers.
Taking on the duties of mixing the first installment of the new series, ‘U R House’, is the Ultra Records president himself, David Waxman, an integral part of the electronic music scene for over 25 years having worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. His mix is set to carry on the tradition of the Ultra Dance compilation series but reimagined and tailored for the modern era of streaming, including tracks by Sofi Tukker, DVBBS, Solardo, among others.
