Since breaking through in 2014 with his ‘Detroit’ EP, supported by Jamie Jones, Carl Cox, Marco Carola, and more, Volkoder has continued to evolve, balancing groove, emotion, and precision across every release.

His latest EP, ‘Cama Cama’, out now via Joseph Capriati’s Metamorfosi Records, further highlights this evolution. Across three dynamic tracks, he weaves minimal, tribal, and nostalgic influences into a fresh, forward-thinking sound.

To celebrate the release, Volkoder shares ten tracks that have shaped his journey — from timeless classics to his most personal productions.

1. Daft Punk – Around the World

“This song was one of the first that made me look at electronic music with curiosity. The hypnotic repetition and flawless production showed me the power of simplicity when it’s done right.”

2. Green Velvet – Flash

“A classic that has always inspired me for its raw energy and attitude. It’s tech house in its purest form — groove, personality, and a touch of madness.”

3. Chris Lake & Green Velvet – Deceiver

“The perfect combination of modern sound and old-school spirit. This track inspired me to chase unique tones and drops with real identity.”

4. Fisher – Losing It

“A turning point in recent tech house. It shows how a simple idea can go global when executed with precision and charisma.”

5. Volkoder – Need Your Body

“One of my favorite recent productions, where I aimed to bring a ’90s vibe, a sensual vocal, and a solid dancefloor groove. It perfectly represents the 2025 version of Volkoder.

6. Volkoder – Swee

“It has a more emotional vibe, with melodic synths and retro textures. It’s about nostalgia and movement.”

7. Solomun – Home

“It reminds me of the more emotional and introspective side of the dancefloor. The slow build and sonic storytelling are truly inspiring.”

8. Adam Ten & Mita Gami – Spring Girl

“I’m a fan of their work, and collaborating with Maccabi House brought me closer to that deeper, more organic sound. This track is a strong reference for me.”

9. Dennis Ferrer – Hey Hey

“An anthem that blends soul and groove. I’ve always been impressed by how the vocal interacts with the beat so vividly.”

10. Volkoder – Cama Cama

“My new track on Metamorfosi. It’s a rhythmic and intense journey where I explored percussion and organic elements inspired by Brazil.”
