The first trailer for ‘Tron: Ares’ has arrived, offering a glimpse into the futuristic world of the upcoming sci-fi sequel—and a preview of its original soundtrack, scored by Nine Inch Nails.
Slated for theatrical release on October 10th, 2025, the film is directed by Joachim Rønning and led by Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, and Jeff Bridges. While Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have composed numerous soundtracks over the past decade, ‘Tron: Ares’ marks their first under the Nine Inch Nails name.
Disney confirmed the duo’s involvement in August 2024, making them the first to score a ‘Tron’ film since Daft Punk, whose work on ‘Tron: Legacy’ in 2010 became a cult classic.
Coinciding with the film announcement, Nine Inch Nails recently announced their first headlining tour in three years, beginning June 15th, 2025, with support from Boys Noize. Grab your tickets here.
