Winter Music Conference officially cancelled

Coronavirus still affecting public conglomerations all around the world.

Miami’s dance annual meeting, Winter Music Conference (WMC), has decided to officially cancel the event, according to the organizers. Unfortunately, due to the declarations of a public health emergency by Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis, and complying with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Interim Guidance for COVID-19, the 35th edition of the WMC will be rescheduled. It was planned for March 16th-19th, 2020.

“After spending the past ten months preparing for the event with our team, panelists and event partners, we are profoundly disappointed, however, there is nothing more important than the health safety and physical well-being of our attendees and employees,” the officials commented.

This news comes after a series of cancelations including Ultra and Get Lost. And while both, Ultra and WMC, are now officially off this month, not all is lost for electronica fans that are heading down to Florida, as Miami Music Week will still take place in South Beach and surrounding areas.
