To be released on October 9th.
Parisian electronic collective 10LEC6 have announced their upcoming studio album, ‘Ako Akas,’ alongside the release of its lead single, ‘Manetik.’
The project marks the group’s return to the Ed Banger label following their previous full-length release, ‘Bone Bame.’ The new single features an array of club-ready reworks from producers Jana Rush, Simo Cell, Mshelula, and Azzi on the Beat.
The foundation of ‘Ako Akas’ relies on vocal performances by frontwoman Nicole, who sings entirely in the Bulu language of southern Cameroon. Musically, the band constructed the tracks by processing raw live jams through FL Studio, layering heavy percussion and electronic textures to bridge elements of techno, footwork, and Afro-pop.
The lead single, ‘Manetik,’ is a high-tempo, 160 BPM percussion-driven track. Its accompanying remix package aims to translate the band’s cross-genre aesthetic directly to the dancefloor.
The ‘Ako Akas’ album will arrive on October 9th, 2026.
