Drew Lustman, better known as FaltyDL, has just unveiled his latest LP, ‘In the Wake of Wolves’. The album is now available through the Central Processing Unit label.

This record is a daring blend of genres, combining FaltyDL’s characteristic rhythmic complexity with a variety of bold stylistic elements.

‘In the Wake of Wolves’ begins with ‘I Need You’, a track that embodies FaltyDL’s distinctive style – a harmonious blend of synthetic textures and gentle melodies. With its throbbing synths and looped vocals, the track’s build-up is reminiscent of Four Tet.

The album proceeds with ‘Further’, a track that playfully switches between machine-funk, dark bass, and breakcore-inspired drum programming. This track sets the stage for several club-focused cuts, including ‘Minds Protection’, ‘Full Spectrum’, and the album’s climactic track ‘Forget Me Not’.

This release represents FaltyDL’s first LP in two years and his first release outside of his own Blueberry Records in nearly a decade.
