Valentinø, the alias of Italian DJ and producer Valentino Marchiori, hails from Genoa, Italy. He’s known for founding Mantra Club in 2016, located in the city’s suburbs, and operates his own label, Overtime Records. His music blends hypnotic melodies and frenetic rhythms, carving a niche in techno and Psy-Trance genres.
Raised in a musical environment as the son of a musician, Valentinø’s childhood revolved around playing instruments found at home or in his father’s studio. His early affinity for music paved the way for his journey into electronic music, where he honed his skills and found his passion.
Valentinø’s debut single, ‘Activity,’ emerged in 2017 on Marco Bailey’s Materia label, followed by his EP ‘My Way,’ which gained acclaim and led to subsequent releases on labels like Etruria Beat, Suara, Second State, Off Recordings, and Galactica Festival’s label. However, his career-defining moment came with his recent release on Indira Paganotto’s ARTCORE Records, the ‘Baba Baby’ EP in February 2024. The title track soared to No.4 on Beatport’s Psy-Trance chart, marking a significant milestone.
Continuing his momentum, Valentinø released ‘Space Travel’ on Beatport’s OFFSonar VA in June 2024, showcasing his hardstyle influence with razor synths and a compelling bassline.
Now a part of ARTCORE’s roster, he performed at the label’s OFFSonar showcase in Barcelona and has garnered significant club plays at renowned venues like Fabrik Madrid, Cocorico, ilMuretto, Khidi Tiblisi, Spazio 900, Vastion Group Festival, Complex Maastricht, and Amnesia Ibiza’s Club Room for Joseph Capriati’s Metamorphosis party.
Looking forward, Valentinø has secured a residency at Bolgia Club, a prominent venue in Northern Italy, and is launching his own festival, Enigma, featuring curated lineups and innovative scenography. He’s set to perform at major events including Tomorrowland, Dreambeach Festival, Barrakud Festival, and Hi Ibiza, highlighting his rising prominence in the global electronic music scene.
