Michael Bibi has released his long-anticipated comeback single ‘Sungazing (Electronic Mix)’, now available via all major platforms.
Blending soft guitar and vocals from US folk artist Alexa Sunshine Rose with Bibi’s signature electronic production, ‘Sungazing’ is a life-affirming anthem crafted in the spirit of healing and hope. The single marks his first release since being diagnosed with CNS lymphoma in 2023—a rare cancer affecting the brain and spine.
A portion of proceeds from ‘Sungazing (Electronic Mix)’ will benefit the Michael Bibi One Life Foundation, aimed at transforming hospital environments through music, art, and therapeutic spaces for cancer patients.
Following his remission announcement in late 2023, Bibi returned to the stage with emotional sets at DC-10, Coachella, and Creamfields, as well as hosting his ‘One Life’ show at London’s Finsbury Park, raising over £124,000 for cancer research.
Reflecting on his journey, Bibi shared, “I dreamed of that show while in the hospital. Seeing it happen was one of the most beautiful moments of my life — now being able to give back with this music release is another milestone in my healing process.”
