Following a sold-out opening night, Cerrone is set to headline a second installment of BABËL: CELEBRATION on Thursday, July 10th, 2025, at Ibiza’s Teatro Pereyra. The weekly series — running every Thursday through August 29th — blends music, visual art, and immersive performance, positioning itself as a creative alternative within the island’s nightlife.
Curated by BABËL founder Waël Mechri-Yver — known for New York’s Gospël and productions at The Diamond Horseshoe and The McKittrick Hotel — the event reimagines club culture through theatrical rituals and multi-sensory storytelling. “Somewhere between sunburned yacht parties and mega-club fireworks, nightlife lost its way… We create a carefully curated collision of music, humanity, and surprise for our audience,” said Mechri-Yver.
A central feature of the series is The Living Gallery, an immersive installation directed by Dani Morla and Lucia de Garcia. Across the run, forty international artists contribute to transforming Teatro Pereyra’s stage into a surreal world where sound and sculpture converge. Contributors include Alberto García-Alix, André Saraiva, Maxime Ballesteros, Yaz Bukey, and Vincent Darré, spanning photography, multimedia, and design.
Cerrone’s participation reinforces BABËL’s devotion to theatricality and spectacle, drawing inspiration from Studio 54’s legacy while rooted in Ibiza’s cultural revival.
